About Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a highly powerful ancient sleep-based meditation technique originated from the ancient yogic scriptures. Yoga Nidra uses the biological process of sleep to enter an evolutionary state of consciousness where one can awaken to their true nature. Every night when we sleep, we must do one thing; let go of our thoughts. Consciously entering this twilight zone between waking and sleeping enables us to rest more and more as the space of being beyond the mind, and less and less as the mind itself. Yoga Nidra is one of the most profound and direct channels for accelerated awakening, physical and emotional healing and the management of insomnia, stress, burnout, anxiety, depression and a host of physical diseases that result. Yoga Nidra transforms through the principle of density. Working with the body and mind is like working with a block of ice. Working with energy and subtle realms of consciousness reveals that that which appears dense and difficult to change in the waking state is malleable and easy to change in subtle realms of dream-like consciousness –like water.

This training is a fascinating journey into the origins and true purpose of yoga as well as applications to modern illnesses. We give you a map– but we also give you the practice and guidance to walk that map on your own. You will learn how this ancient technique of Yoga enables you to not only enter subtle realms of consciousness, but reshape your life and your health from beyond the reach of will. Whether you or a loved one is struggling with sleep, addictive habits, stress, weight, or worry, Yoga Nidra sees all these conditions as visible manifestations of one invisible cause. Work with each symptom singly and we will be busy for a lifetime. Work with the cause, and the symptoms will simultaneously begin erode of their own accord.

About the training

This transformational yoga nidra training is designed to give you a profound understanding of yoga nidra as an ancient technology designed to solve the pitfalls of the human experience. Laid out in a precise step-by-step manner, these profound yogic teachings are designed to lead you through a personal and practical process of insight and understanding that will help you see your own life in a different light. Twice daily experiences of yoga nidra will allow these insights to take root and changes to happen from the subtlest levels of consciousness. We will do a total of thirteen or more yoga nidra sessions in four days. Science shows that after eleven sessions of yoga nidra, measurable changes begin to happen in the brain.

With the tools of yoga nidra we will show you how to resolve and reshape stress patterns in the mind, health, and emotions– not from will, but at the very place these patterns come into form from unseen realms of consciousness. You will learn how scientific study and the latest research is confirming what yogis have known for thousands of years.

Once you know and have seen its power for yourself, you will be empowered and excited to give this simple yet profoundly transformational experience to others. Being a yoga nidra facilitator is ideal for friends and loved ones who might benefit from yoga, but who would never set foot in a yoga class. It is an excellent addition for psychologists, mindfulness practitioners, yoga teachers, health, helping professionals and therapists looking for new tools to serve their clients.

This two part training (two four day trainings totaling 8 days) is designed to:

  • Enhance your personal and spiritual health.

  • Get you started with one of the easiest and most effective meditation and mindfulness practices you’ll ever come across.

  • Expand your appreciation and understanding of exactly what yoga nidra does using 5 principles to interrupt the dis-ease process at the level of emotions, mind and body.

  • Discover the cutting edge research that is reinforcing what the ancient yogis have known for thousands of years.

  • Enable you to give the benefits of yoga to those who might never set foot in a yoga studio--your parents, kids, church members, friends in the hospital, those going to transitions or suffering from insomnia.

Yoga Nidra is truly for everyone. But to really share it with others, we begin with YOU.
