📍 Location Details
Location: Mandala de Masca, Tenerife – a hidden sanctuary in the heart of Masca Valley, celebrated for its natural beauty and eco-inspired retreat setting.
Beach Access: 30 minutes from the beach, transport can be arranged
Activities: Hiking trails and guided hikes available
Airport Transfer: From TFS (Tenerife South Airport) 45 minutes, 95 Euros for private taxi. Shared taxis (8 persons) about 40 Euros per person. We can help coordinate shared taxis.
Dining: Plant based foods, low sugar, no gluten, vegan. Please note that nuts are included in many foods. Those with hyper allergies to nuts should not attend as totally nut free cannot be guaranteed.
Extended Stay: Want to arrive early or stay later? El Médano is a lively surfing town with great beach and views just 10 minutes from TFS airport.
Please note: The retreat center requires that you take out appropriate travel insurance, including coverage for medical treatment, accidents and repatriation, and holiday cancellation and curtailment. Such a policy needs to be in effect before you depart.

Kamini Desai, PhD
Kamini Desai, PhD, is the author of Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep, and is considered a leading authority in the field of Yoga Nidra. As the co-developer of I AM Yoga Nidra with her father, Yogi Amrit Desai, she uniquely combines the ancient wisdom of yoga with western psychology and science. Kamini has been teaching worldwide for over 35 years. In 2012 she was awarded the title Yogeshwari (woman of yogic mastery) for her keen ability to bring ancient illumination to the genuine challenges of the human experience. Her teachings have benefited employees at Sony, Kelloggs, KPN Telecom, Mars Confectionery, the Department of Corrections and Departments of the Netherlands Government. Skuli Sigurdsson
Skuli is a certified Yoga Teacher, Yoga Nidra facilitator and Yoga Therapist. However, his primary focus is on Hugh Gilbert’s work which he finds brings resolution to a host of physical imbalances, pain and injuries within a short period of time. His hands-on personalized approach is first aimed at addressing physical pain and symptoms. As appropriate, his work may also release connected mental and emotional constrictions that lie below the surface.
Skuli believes healing is not just in the technique, but in the quality of time and attention given to each individual. He listens and creates a customized approach designed to best suit your needs.
