The Gunas (Tamas, Rajas, and Sattva) are the subtle forces that shape your thoughts, energy, and experience of life. In this masterclass, we explore the ancient teachings of the Gunas and as described in the Bhagavad Gita and Samkhya philosophy, and how they shape our inner state from moment to moment. You’ll understand how our thinking patterns influence these states and color our consciousness. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra, you’ll learn to recognize whether you are feeling heavy and stuck, restless and overwhelmed, or clear and balanced and how to gently shift these states from within. Blending philosophy with direct experience, this session ends with a guided Yoga Nidra practice.
